Exclusive Networks combines business insights and ice hockey at the Solution Power Play event

Zug, November 15, 2024. The fourth edition of the Solution Power Play, hosted by Exclusive Networks Switzerland, proved to be a great success again this year, bringing together numerous industry experts in the fields of cybersecurity and networking in Zug on November 13 and in Lausanne on November 14. The exclusive mix of business insights and sporting highlights offered IT decision-makers and partners a platform for intensive exchange and networking – rounded off by a live ice hockey game.

Business and sport in harmony

The afternoon began with a dynamic business session in which leading IT vendors Palo Alto Networks, Gigamon, SentinelOne, Extrahop, Rubrik and Proofpoint presented their latest solutions in an exciting “power pitch” format. In two-minute duels, the vendors competed against each other in pairs to attract the attention of the audience. After each pitch, the participants then had the opportunity to choose one of the two vendors and to deepen their knowledge by attending the subsequent presentations in a parallel session.

Extreme Networks was a special guest at the events and was introduced at the beginning by Dennis Hahner, Head of Business Development of the new Networking Business Unit DACH of Exclusive Networks. With the establishment of this unit, Exclusive Networks is strengthening its position as the leading provider of network infrastructure and security solutions in the entire DACH region.

Exciting raffle and networking at the highest level

A special highlight before the evening ice hockey game was the raffle of three PlayStation 5 consoles including the game “NHL 25” among the participants – a successful warm-up for the sporting conclusion of the day. Afterwards, the event took the guests to the BOSSARD Arena in Zug, where they watched the ice hockey game between EV Zug and SC Bern on the exclusive “Dine & View” terrace. In Lausanne, the ice hockey game between Lausanne HC and ZSC Lions was on the program. The relaxed atmosphere offered the perfect opportunity to enjoy the game and at the same time deepen valuable conversations.

Positive conclusion and outlook

Solution Power Play Vol. 4 showed how successful the combination of expertise, networking and sporting experience can be. “We are thrilled with the keen interest and the many valuable connections that have been made as part of this event,” said Marcus Adä, General Manager of Exclusive Networks Germany and Regional Manager DACH. “With Solution Power Play, we are providing a platform that conveys expertise in an innovative way and promotes dialogue between vendors and partners in a targeted manner.”

The event was a resounding success for everyone involved, and the concept is to be continued next year.
