Munich, Brunn am Gebirge, Schlieren, September 24, 2020. The solutions and technologies that protect against cyber attacks are as diverse as the attacks themselves. In order to optimally support its specialist retailers in effectively using the multiple solution portfolios of its vendors, security VAD Exclusive Networks (Euronext Paris: EXN) is successively expanding its already extensive range of services. This is also accompanied by an increase in personnel: Since May, Silke Hein has been responsible for the range of services as Vendor Manager Services DACH and in this role she works closely with experts from the service team.
Exclusive Networks has the right services offering for its specialist retail partners for every single phase of an IT security project: expert technical advice for the wide range of products and solutions from the entire vendor portfolio is, of course, part of the service. To accelerate sales processes and gain customer trust, the VAD provides support in the form of specialized pre-sales workshops. In addition, consulting assistance is available on request for partners when designing customer-specific implementations and proofs of concept. The Exclusive Networks experts also accompany their partners to customer appointments, providing demos and test installations, among other things.
Quickstart services are offered especially for solutions from the vendors Infoblox, Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks. They help to accelerate the complex initial installation of new solutions and get them up and running in a timely manner. For the booming managed services business, Exclusive Networks is opening up a low-threshold entry into the MSSP market with a managed SOC solution for resellers in DACH with its own X-OD service and the Palo Alto Networks D2P service.
Comprehensive training offerings for the solutions in the vendor portfolio round off the range of services. This enables resellers and their end customers to keep their knowledge up to date with the latest technology and thus remain competitive.
One important focus is on support: depending on the vendor, a certified support team is available either 8/5 or 24/7 by phone and email in German and English – without having to go through the vendor. The experienced engineers at Exclusive Networks can solve 90 percent of cases.
“With our extensive services portfolio, we enable the channel to stand out from the competition and to benefit from new opportunities in the rapidly changing IT market at an early stage,” concludes Business Development Manager Silke Hein, who looks back on a successful quarter at Exclusive Networks. “The feedback from the market is positive all round. It confirms the high level of interest in the services topic – regardless of whether it is an SME or a large company.”
“Services are our core business: we support the channel through all project phases, with financing offers, technical support programs and cloud services, as well as dedicated training and education, and our ‘Exclusive Access’ customer portal, which offers our reseller partners all the information they need for their projects, 24/7 and in real time. This year, we have consistently invested in the further expansion of our services, both in terms of content and personnel. We are therefore very pleased that Silke Hein and her team are proactively promoting the services topic in a way that benefits our customers,” explains Macus Adä, General Manager of Exclusive Networks Germany and Regional Manager DACH.
