VAD is expanding its sales team and strengthening its Networking DACH business unit

Munich, Brunn am Gebirge, Schlieren, 1 October 2020. VAD is expanding its workforce in all areas: Thomas Henk, for example, is taking on a central role in the management team of Exclusive Networks Germany with immediate effect. In addition, the global cybersecurity provider is also expanding its ‘Networking DACH’ business unit, which was founded in July, to include, among others, key account manager Roberto de Falco.

Thomas Henk has been active in the channel for more than 13 years. From his roles as Head of Business Unit at Infinigate and former Product Sales Director at Nuvias, he brings not only extensive market knowledge but also a strong network. He will now use both of these assets as Director Vendor Management Germany at the VAD to further expand the strong business with established vendors and to integrate new cybersecurity providers into the world’s leading vendor portfolio of Exclusive Networks.

‘As promised at the beginning of 2024, we have invested heavily in our manpower this year because we want to support our specialist retail partners even more effectively in the face of the many challenges they face’, explains Marcus Adä, General Manager of Exclusive Networks Germany and Regional Manager DACH.

We are therefore delighted to have gained Thomas Henk, a proven industry expert. We have also continuously expanded our new Networking DACH business unit, as we are experiencing – as expected – enormous market potential in holistic network infrastructure and security solutions.’ Exclusive Networks has already gradually added qualified sales, service and administration professionals to the Networking business unit, which was only founded in July. In addition, new additions such as Business Development Manager Henryk Fricke and Key Account Manager Roberto de Falco bring with them in-depth knowledge of Extreme Networks and a reseller contact base that has grown over 20 years in the distribution business.

‘We have already been able to achieve initial successes with the Networking Unit after only a short time. It was therefore an obvious step to round off our competence team with these proven experts. Experienced network resellers, but also complete newcomers, benefit from our comprehensive expertise and the best possible support in all areas to successfully position themselves in this growth market,’ explains Andy Hahner, Director Networking DACH.

Marcus Adä adds: ‘Contrary to the current trend, we are focusing on personnel growth. In addition to the new hires, we have already strengthened our teams this year by more than 20 employees in sales, technology and business development, among others – and thus once again significantly expanded our offering for the channel. We will continue to expand in the future in order to expand our leading position in the DACH region and to further optimise the support we provide to our specialist retail partners.
