About the role
To assist our fast development and improve the overall internal control environment across the Group, we are looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active Senior Internal Controller.
In this highly visible and fast paced role, you will support the Internal Controls Director on enterprise-wise initiatives, which include:
- Work in close collaboration with local Finance teams across our subsidiaries worldwide to ensure that key controls are well understood, performed and implemented, but also to identify best practices and keep improving the internal controls framework;
- Deep dive into Exclusive Networks’ processes to ensure that key risks are properly identified and addressed;
- Conduct key controls assessments on a regular basis (including an annual self-assessment campaign) to evaluate adherence to corporate standards, including the review of both the design and the effectiveness of controls; and define an action plan if any gap with corporate standards is identified;
- Act as a primary liaison with external auditors for external scoping, test plans and finding communication
- Participate in the update of Group policies and procedures (including the manual of the internal control procedures), and in designing Process Flowcharts and Risk Monitoring Matrices;
- Analyze large sets of data to support conclusions, controls implementation and key performance indicator tracking
- Assist in the review of users’ accesses and rights for the Group IT applications;
- Support various projects of the Internal Control department (segregation of duties, bank signatories, onboarding of new Finance Directors & Country Managers etc.), but also take new initiatives to drive efficiencies and effectiveness in processes and controls
Who we are looking for
You may be a good fit for this position if you have the following skills:
- You already have 3 to 5 years of experience in internal controls or internal audit;
- You are fluent in English (French is not required but preferred);
- You are curious and willing to challenge status quo;
- You can synthesize information from a variety of sources and communicate the key points with simplicity;
- You are a fast learner with strong attention to detail and good analytical and quantitative skills to quickly elaborate on key findings and propose processes improvements
- You have a proven track of working with leaders from across geographies and managing the deliverables under a fast-changing expectation with accurate quality;
- You are confident, assertive and persuasive with strong influencing skills; you have the ability to win internal support for new ideas and initiatives
- You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint;
- You have the highest professional and personal standards, unquestioned integrity business ethics;
- You take pride in work and seek to excel; you are curious, organized and adaptable;
- You can work autonomously as well as in a team;
- Knowledge of NetSuite (Oracle) is a plus.
