Experienced channel leader Michel Cohen joins to drive business growth; Franck Laga adopts new role
PARIS, FRANCE – January 8th 2014 – Exclusive Networks has hired industry veteran Michel Cohen as its new General Manager for France & Africa. The appointment brings unique skills and business acumen to one of Exclusive’s most important regions, and follows the departure of Franck Laga to head up its new Exclusive Capital division.
Widely respected, and with an outstanding track record of achievement in the French distribution market, Cohen brings a wealth of experience to his new role including over a decade as Managing Director of Azlan and – most recently – four years in charge of Ingram Micro’s ‘Value’ division which he successfully led to threefold growth.
“We’re privileged to have Michel on board. He has an excellent reputation and relationships both within the French IT channel and across the international vendor community,” said Olivier Breittmayer, CEO of Exclusive Networks Group. “His considerable success growing large, sustainable distribution businesses in France makes him uniquely qualified to continue our growth trajectory and take us to the next level.”
Michel Cohen replaces Franck Laga, who has taken up a new role as Managing Director of Exclusive Capital following the acquisition of Boulogne-based financing and leasing company Fibail System. Initially operating from France, with plans to quickly expand geographic reach, Exclusive Capital will deliver a host of exciting, new, integrated value added services that make it easier for resellers to win deals.
