A major European energy company had to implement a data protection strategy to secure the critical infrastructures that they are operating, and at the same time safeguard their competitive advantages and meet regulatory requirements, such as GDPR.

The data in question resides in many systems and repositories across the company, including on-premise data centers, as well as numerous SaaS platforms and hyper scalers in the cloud.
