Business Operations Manager

About the role

  • Contribute to the management of operations in the US and lead a growing outsourced team abroad
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to different technical, professional, and/or administrative staff associated with defined project tasks
  • Aide the Manager of Operations and Customer Experience with implementing process and system improvements
  • Support continuous development of processes and workflows through substantial involvement in the brainstorming of and contributing to the development of a customer facing portal and tools
  • Define and implement improvements to order management processes and technologies to streamline order delivery and improve customer service
  • Perform quality assessments of orders processed to ensure completeness and accuracy in the processing of POs, quotes, and RMAs
  • Work to resolve and/or escalate any operational issues that have an impact on the customer experience
  • Manage inventory by monitoring inventory levels, inventory aging, stock rotation, and inventory buys, assist in logistics as it pertains to inventory
  • Report on metrics relevant to operations, quoting, inventory, and fulfillment
  • Provide backorder fulfillment with specific vendor focus

Who we are looking for

  • Experience: 3 years in the field of logistics or operations
  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, and data analysis skills
  • Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions
  • Ability to adjust to new developments and changes in priorities
  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP), an understanding of NetSuite and Salesforce is beneficial
  • Advanced MS Office Application – MS Outlook and Excel
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity industry a plus
  • Flexible and ability to work across different time zones
  • Limited travel (10%)
