Supply Chain Logistics Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Logistics Manager position includes aspects of both operations and customer service, such as inventory management, backorder fulfillment, maintenance, and system enhancements. This person would manage our procurement team and oversee the whole purchasing process, from strategic sourcing to stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement methods. The procurement manager will be a supply chain and logistics specialist with a focus on executing cost-effective acquisitions of all goods and services as needed by the company, ensuring quality control and complying to the company’s supply chain management policies.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership to different technical, professional, and/or administrative staff involved in defined project tasks
  • Develops short- and long-term category-specific strategies and plans that correspond with the Company’s goals for cost-cutting and attaining financial targets, while also managing vendor performance and relationships
  • Interacts with stakeholders to build, engage, and lead vendor partnerships that maximize supplier quality, total cost effectiveness, improved service levels, risk management, sustainability, supplier diversity, and innovation
  • Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels via inventory management: monitor inventory levels, inventory aging, stock rotation, etc.
  • Coordinate all phases of material sourcing, planning, procurement, and logistics
  • Reporting on metrics: ops / inventory / fulfilment metrics
  • Backorder fulfillment with Juniper focus: when processing POs and RMAs, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Define and execute improvements to order management processes and technologies to streamline order delivery and improve customer service
  • As appropriate to the position, provide day-to-day leadership to different technical, professional, and/or administrative staff involved in defined project tasks

Who we are looking for

  • Experience: 3 years in the field of logistics or operations
  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, and data analysis skills
  • Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions
  • Ability to adjust to new developments and changes in priorities
  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP), an understanding of NetSuite and Salesforce is beneficial
  • Advanced MS Office Application – MS Outlook and Excel
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity industry a plus
  • Flexible and ability to work across different time zones
  • Limited travel (10%)
