Sales Manager: Ignition Technology

About the role

The incumbent for this role needs to be able to educate, stimulate and enable sales through end user interaction. Needs to have the knowledge and gravitas to talk about security technologies., challenges faced by CISO’s and guide them to Ignitions portfolio of solutions.

Accountabilities & Activities

  • Understands the channel and two-tier distribution
  • Able to build and maintain meaningful relationships with identified end users and drive revenue via channel
  • Set and measure strong but reachable goals with channels
  • Balance short term initiatives with longer-term development
  • Be able to demonstrate a track record of success in closing end user business with targeted accounts
  • Drive the implementation of the mid/long term growth strategy

Who we are looking for

Person Specification

  • 5-10 years industry experience
  • Educated to degree or equivalent level in business, technical or sales related discipline
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of the market
  • Security technology knowledge and understanding
  • Must have end user sales skills
  • Ability to enthuse, train and enable partners
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to a variety of audiences
  • Commercially aware and numerate with the ability to understand and manage priorities and risk in commercial terms
  • Dynamic, engaging and driven.
