I started my career in 1996 at Telindus. During the first ten years I developed a solid base in IP Networking, working as a consulting engineer with end customers and as a IP backbone engineer at a major ISP.

In 2006 my focus changed from pure networking to networking security.
As a security presales consultant/architect I designed and implemented various security setups, using solutions such as Palo Alto Networks, Checkpoint, Radware, Mcafee, Juniper, Barracuda, Bluecoat, and Cisco.

When Palo Alto Networks entered the European market in 2008, I had the luck to work with the only Belgian security integrator selling Palo Alto at that time. During the following years I performed some major migrations from other firewall products to the Palo Alto security platform.
In 2011 I was among the first SE’s in Europe who acquired a CNSE (now PCNSE) certification.

At Exclusive Networks I’m focused on the portfolio of some key vendors, among them are Palo Alto Networks, Forescout, Silverfort and Thales.

I’m a certified Palo Alto trainer for a few years now, teaching the official Palo Alto courses: EDU-210 (5-day Firewall Essentials), EDU-214 (4-day Optimizing Firewall Threat Prevention), EDU-220 (2-day Panorama), EDU-330 (3-day Debug & Troubleshoot) and EDU-318 (3-day Prisma Access SASE Security).
