Effective July 15, 2026, the Fortinet Training Institute is evolving the NSE program into a new 8-level certification structure (NSE 1–8), spanning four key tracks: Secure Networking, Security Operations, Cloud Security, and SASE.

This updated framework also introduces recognized industry certifications, revised recertification requirements, and a standard two-year validity period, ensuring certifications remain relevant in an ever-changing security landscape.
