DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

Be the key person for maintenance of office facilities, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands. 

This role will report to The Country Manager 

As the Driver/ Logistics Assistant, you will:

• Provides clerical and administrative support to departmental Managers, and assists in coordinating all aspects of daily operations, including recording and reporting data, 
•  Ordering and taking stock of office supplies and Logistics as part of post product and service delivery
• Tracking orders to ensure timely delivery. Planning and organizing shipments in conformity with product availability and customer requests. Maintaining accurate and updated records of orders, suppliers, and customers. Providing information to clients or customers about the status of their orders
• Responsible for receiving and unpacking parcels, completing relevant documentation, and dispatching stock. You should also record and report breakages, major spills, and contaminations, as well as keep an updated filling system
• Be the key person for maintenance of office facilities, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands. Maintenance of office includes welding, installation, insulation, and other general maintenance work and show expertise in maintenance of office premises and surrounding
• Assist with any channel queries (e.g., delivery dates, assist in follow-ups of processed orders and dealing with all associated paperwork, etc)

Who we are looking for

The ideal Driver/ Logistics Assistant:

• High School Qualification
• MS Office
• Valid Driving License
• Min 2 – 3 years administration experience
• Advantageous: Experience in Distribution and Reseller Channel within the IT or ICT industry 
• Advantageous: Have a good understanding of logistics and be familiar with the area
