Veracomp Distributions – Symantec and Trend Micro – Leaders in Endpoint Protection

Latest Gartner Report and analysis of Endpoint Protection Platforms positioned Symantec and Trend Micro – both distributed by Veracomp – at the very top, in their so-called “Leaders Quadrant”, which currently has only three different solutions. More than 20 manufacturers have been evaluated.

The “Endpoint Protection Platforms” category covers endpoint protection products and associated functionalities such as hardening (reducing the attack surface of software), analysis, detection and incident response (EDR – Endpoint Detection and Response) together with standard behavioral and anti-virus protection. Gartner highlights these functionalities as transformative in this market and refers to features that will be required from such solutions in the future.

Symantec and Trend Micro have been positioned among the Leaders in every annual Gartner survey since 2002.
