Thales – 27 juni – Webinar – Multifactor authentication – Now more relevant than ever

Description

The proliferation of cybercrime has put identity and authentication under constantly increasing pressure. Businesses have been forced to react and have stepped up the investments in modern cyber defense. The 2024 Data Threath Report states that a clear majority (93%) of companies have had first hand experiences of direct cyberthreats.

The fastest growing threat and attack types are malware, phishing, and ransomware. The primary targets of the attackers appear to be corporate cloud resources, such as SaaS applications, cloud storages, and the management capabilities of the cloud infrastructure.

According to the same source, the root causes of breaches are still the human factors – the users are the weakest link in the defense chain. The focus on users calls for immediate action in strengthening user authentication and access control to critical resources. The fastest and most effective measures are employing multifactor authentication(MFA) and effective access management.

Many organizations are currently reviewing their access control mechanisms and policies, and planning the next steps towards the next security level. While MFA solutions have been rolled out and access control partially implemented, the question remains: “Is this enough?”. Do the measures taken provide adequate protection and return? Are all relevant user profiles addressed in both on-premise and cloud use cases? Does the MFA implementation done cater for rollout of modern Zero Trust -access approach?

Participate in the webinar by Thales and Exclusive Networks to learn how Thales can help your organization in these current and relevant issues.

The webinar will be held in English (and partly Swedish) and will last 30 minutes.
