Proofpoint Security Awareness Training (PSAT) Update

New! Customisation Center

An enhanced version of the Customisation Center in Proofpoint’s Security Awareness Training solution is now available. This feature allows customers to customise Proofpoint’s existing Interactive Training Modules when delivered in the Security Education Platform.

This new functionality was released in July in EMEA and Asia Pacific environments. Customers can now manipulate most visible text, including the questions in the quizzes as well as the text across all supported languages to personalise content for their organisation. The PSAT Customisation Center is self-service, and available at no additional charge in the Security Education Platform so customers can edit and assign new training in a matter of minutes.

Additionally, with this release customers can also:

• Use Proofpoint’s industry-first Learning Science Evaluator, which provides guidance on the changed content to ensure it adheres to Learning Science Principles and continues to change behaviour
• Clone modules and tailor them to create their own role-based training for individual functions, departments, or regions to ensure they are relevant to those specific users or groups
• Make their training content consistent for multinational audiences with managed languages
  
• Ensure compliance for US Section 508 or WCAG 2.0 AA regulations by allowing customers to edit screen reader text

Renewal Information for the PSAT Foundations Package

Proofpoint recently announced an update to the PSAT Packages which now have 2 enhanced packages on offer: Anti-Phishing and Enterprise. All existing customers on the Foundations package will be upgraded to Enterprise or downgraded to Anti-phishing at the time of their next renewal.

Transition for Kaspersky Customers

Kaspersky no longer has an OEM agreement to repackage and sell Proofpoint’s Award-winning Security Awareness Training platform (formerly Wombat Security). Proofpoint is making it a priority that their partners and customers should not see any disruption in quality of service or support as partners transition to purchasing from Proofpoint. This transition will not affect customers in terms of product usage. They will continue to receive all the functionality and benefits currently experienced and can continue transacting through you as a partner.

If you have previously resold Kaspersky Security Awareness Training, please do contact your existing customers now and inform them of their ability to maintain service through renewal – and that you will transact with Proofpoint at time of renewal on their behalf.
