The Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA) certification validates a candidate’s up-to-date knowledge on cyber-threats and cyber-security as well as the knowledge required for entry-level network security positions, whose technical requirements change as quickly as the technology upon which they are based. A certified PCCSA can prove that he or she possesses knowledge of cutting-edge technology available today to manage the cyber threats of tomorrow.
The preparation for the PCCSA certification is available at no cost to all NextWave Program partners.
To prepare for the certification, follow these steps:
- Complete the Introduction to Cybersecurity (EDU-010), available in the Learning Center of the NextWave Partner Program Portal.
- Review the «Cybersecurity Survival Guide» available as a downloadable pdf file, to gain a deeper understanding of cybersecurity.
- Finally, test your readiness by taking the PCCSA Practice Exam available in the Learning Center.
The formal certification exam is hosted and proctored by Pearson VUE, a third-party testing company.
The digital learning course Introduction to Cybersecurity (EDU-010), available online to Palo Alto Networks NextWave Partners is intended for learners who want to enter the field of cybersecurity and will help them demonstrate knowledge about current threats. It describes the latest trends in network-based cyberattacks and the historical and current cutting-edge technologies available to prevent them. Its coverage of the Palo Alto Networks Security Operating Platform provides an excellent overview of its portfolio and it an excellent review of its positioning and features.
