Email is a critical tool for everyday business communication and productivity. It’s also a popular attack vector among threat actors trying to steal credentials or obtain other sensitive information. As attackers launch more sophisticated, multi-vector campaigns against their targets, email security solutions must provide multi-layered protection.

In this workshop, participants learn how to prevent, detect, and respond to email-based threats by using FortiMail and leveraging threat intelligence from FortiGuard Labs. They will learn how to protect their network from a variety of email-based attacks, including spam, phishing, malware, zero-day threats, impersonation, and business email compromise (BEC) attacks.

Participants who attend this workshop will learn how to:

• Protect against viruses and malware sent as email attachments (FortiMail)
• Detect emails that impersonate C-level executives (FortiMail)
• Apply content disarm and reconstruction (CDR) to remove active content from attached files (FortiMail)
• Apply URL click protection to rewrite links contained in an email (FortiMail and FortiIsolator)
• Use identity-based encryption (IBE) to protect out-going emails that contain sensitive information (FortiMail)
